1. Forward lunge – One of the best butt toning exercises you can do, the forward lunge works nearly your entire lower body and is also a high intensity exercise so it burns lots of calories.
The way you do a forward lunge is simple: stand upright and take a medium step forward with your right leg. Bend both knees and descend with your body straight down. Do not let your left knee touch the floor and do not leg your right knee go past the 90 degree angle. You must also make sure that your right knee does not pass your right toes as you descend.
Rise back up and return to the starting position. Repeat with the left leg for symmetry. That’s one rep.
You can make the forward lunge harder by holding a dumbbell in each hand. However, for most people, their body weight is enough resistance.
2. Squat – Another excellent fat burning, butt toning exercise, the squat is one of my favorite exercises. You can do this at home with no equipment at all.
To do the squat, stand with your legs about shoulder width apart. Bend both knees and start going down with your upper body. Push your butt backward so your knees don’t pass the line of your toes. Feel the strain in your buttocks as they feel the pressure. Rise back up and that’s one rep.
To make this exercise harder you can either place a barbell on your shoulders or hold a dumbbell in each hand. You can also change the exercise a bit by changing the distance between your legs.
3. Bridge with a ball – For this exercise you need a small workout ball or a similar object. What you’re doing to do is lie on your back with both knees bent and your feet on the floor. You will place the ball between your knees and squeeze it between them. This will crunch your buttocks hard.
Raise your butt and lower back while keeping your feet on the floor. You will feel how your buttocks are working which is why the bridge is an awesome exercise to tone your butt. Lower your butt back down and do the exercise again and fast for the very best results.
Do these 3 exercises and you will tone your butt and burn lots of fat.
